Car washing

Regular washing and waxing reduces the risk of rust forming and protects the car’s surfaces from weather damage. Hand washing covers all surfaces of the car and brushes will not scratch the paint.  The interior can also be cleaned on request.

CAR WASHING REMINDER!

Simple logic says that the car should be washed when it has become dirty. There is no set interval for when to do this. It depends on the weather as well as the roads you have driven on. It would be ideal to wash the car every week, but it is also fine when it is cleaned every two or three weeks.

Car washing is a multi-stage activity. The correct way is to start with a pressure washer, which can remove most of the dirt. Next, wash the car with a cleaning agent and a sponge. However, it is very important that the sponge stays wet during the cleaning, because if it is dry and there is sand in between, it can act as sandpaper. After washing with a cleaning agent, the car must be rinsed with a pressure washer. Subsequent drying is crucial. If the car is not dried properly, it will remain patchy.

One washing session takes an average of 30 minutes. It may seem like a long time, but looking at the bigger picture, an hour or a half is worth it to keep your four-wheel friend clean and beautiful!

The advantage of hand washing over automatic car washes is that you never know which substances they use. The main purpose that characterizes automatic car washes is the ability to clean as many cars as possible in a short amount of time. That is why strong cleaning agents are used, which can damage the car’s paint. For example, washing with brushes can also cause scratches and holograms, which can only be removed by polishing.

One of the things that characterizes a car in the spring is that after the winter months, tar and asphalt have accumulated on the body due to the use of studded tires. It sets on the car and does not look appealing to anyone.

Fortunately, there are special tar removers in spray bottles that are easy to use. The car must be washed and dried before using them. After that, spray the car’s body with a tar remover. It corrodes the tar so it is easy to wash off.

If the car is clean, it is advisable to clean the rims and tires as well. The rims get dirty mainly from the hot dust created by friction between the brake discs and the pad. This dust settles on the rims and is difficult to remove. Fortunately, there is a special SONAX rim cleaner that corrodes it so that this dirt is easy to wash off.

Cleaning tires, however, is especially easy. To do this, just spray them with a cleaning agent.  When it dries, the tires look beautiful, fresh and clean!

A safer way to keep your car clean for longer is to wax the car. The wax removes the fine scratches, so that the surface of the body remains glassy and has a better shine. In this way, water comes off more easily from the body. As a result, dirt from the road won’t set on the body so much and the car stays clean longer.

There are different waxes. Their appearance can be determined by the numbers marked on them.
These numbers range from one to three. Number one has the maximum protective effect. That’s why it’s used on new cars. Medium, or number two, both protects the car and adds a shiny effect. The third should be used on older vehicles, as it provides maximum shine but minimum protection. In addition to waxing with number three, good owners of old vehicles also use number one to add protection.

It is preferable to choose new hybrid waxes. They contain both organic and inorganic substances and are easy to work with. And they don’t leave white stripes when the weather is sunny, unlike the previous generation of solvent-based waxes when the weather is sunny.

To wax the car, all you need to do is wash it clean and start applying the wax.  This should be done little by little. When the wax starts to dry, all you have to do is clean the excess wax with a cloth and the vehicle will be shiny and beautiful.

The car interior doesn’t have to be cleaned so often, but it still does need cleaning! One of the important things that needs to be clean in a car are the windows. These can be cleaned with different glass washing agents. And the glass must be washed not only on the outside but also on the inside. There are special cleaning products that are easy to use. All you have to do is apply them to the glass and then rub them with a cloth.

Moreover, it is also advisable to add concentrates to the cleaning agent to help clean the glass even better. The better the cleaning agent, the fewer times it needs to wiped and the safer the driving experience. This might seem rather insignificant, but considering that at a speed of 90 kilometers per hour, the car travels 100 meters in just 4 seconds, it is very important!

If you have washed the car with shampoo on the outside, it is also advisable to clean the windows separately with a glass cleaning agent. It is also very practical to use it when washing the mirrors and lights.

If the windows are clean, the plastic parts of the dashboard may start to glare. This can be remedied with a special cleaner for plastic parts, which makes them matte.

There is also dust in the car. In addition to glass and plastic cleaning agents, dust can also be removed by using a textile cleaner on the seats. Leather cleaning products should be used in cars with leather parts. The only thing to keep in mind is to apply the substance on the cloth first and then use it to clean.

This will remove most of the food stains. However, there are special stain removers for more serious stains. As a rule, the faster you start cleaning when something stains, the easier it is to remove them. One important thing to keep in mind, however, is that the cleaning agents should be first tried out in parts that are not easily visible. This is to test their suitability.

The good news, however, is that you can now quickly get rid of unpleasant odors in your car. Be it the smell of tobacco, dogs or fish, there is a special substance that neutralizes it. To do this, spray the substance into the car’s interior and the places where the odor emanates. After that, keep the doors closed for 30 minutes and the odor will be gone.

The reader must have wondered how to get the smell of a new car. In short, the easiest way to get the smell of a new car is to buy a new car
